Salt Spoons (pair) - Cast with Lion Mask Terminals - London 1853 by Thomas Hughes Headland - 9.8cm long; 31g combined weight - GR/9783

These are a good, cast pair of Victorian silver salt spoons with gilt shell bowls.

Made by the little-known silversmith Thomas Hughes Headland, these nice quality salt spoons feature a lion's mask to the front terminal and are engraved with original ownership initials to the reverse. They are in fine condition with a deep rich gilding to each bowl.
