A good example of a James II period  trefid spoon with reeeded rattail to the reverse of the bowl. The reverse terminal bears a later betrothal triangle. The spoon is in good order, albeit quite bright and bears a good set of hallmarks for a short lived monarch's reign.

 

The catholic James II was also James VII of Scotland and spent just 3 tumultuous years on the English throne (1685-88)
