Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This William & Mary period trefid spoon has many attractive features including the dated set of betrothal initials in the 17th century style to the reverse of the terminal. There is the desirable addition of a fine line of beading to decorate the rattail and a clear set of old standard hallmarks with a good example of the "S" over "W" makers mark (n.b. this mark is often confused with the more commonly found "W" over "S" mark of William Scarlett). Despite its light weight this spoon has survived in remarkably good condition with a full unworn bowl and a well defined trefid terminal.
