Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a fine-looking Georgian silver chamberstick made by the premier London silversmiths, Emes & Barnard.

The circular chamberstick is complete with sconce nozzle and candle extinguisher. The nozzle bears compatible marks to the main piece and although not marked, the conical snuffer is a perfect fit with conforming thread decoration around the lower rim. The chamberstick has a carrying handle so that it could be used in various parts of a house and in particular for use at bedtime. There is a charming engraved double crest featuring a goat's head and a red squirrel.

This excellent quality chamberstick remains in fine condition throughout with a lovely antique patina.
