George II Silver Marrow Scoop, 1753
£198.00
Marrow Scoop - Double-ended - London 1753 by George Hindmarsh - 21.4cm long; 56g - EH/3144
This is a good quality George II period silver marrow scoop in the typical double-ended scoop form.
The scoops are two different sizes to enable the user to best tackle the marrow fat from inside marrow bones. The wider scoop is engraved to the reverse with Gothic script initials and the central shank is struck with a clear set of London hallmarks. The marrow scoop has a good weight and is in fine condition.
