Table Spoons (pair) - Fiddle Pattern - Aberdeen c.1830 by William Jamieson - 21.7cm long; 143g combined weight - RJ/4674

Engraved with original crests to the front terminals, these are a high quality pair of Scottish provincial silver table spoons with clear Aberdeen marks.

The spoons are in fiddle pattern and the engraved crests are surmounted in Scottish style with a motto which reads "Weigh Well" and is most likely for the Urquhart family. The reverse sides are struck with a good selection of marks that include the "A", "B" & "D" stamps for Aberdeen and the "WJ" maker's mark for William Jamieson that is punched four times to make it clear who made these spoons!

This pair of silver table spoons are in excellent condition with really thick bowl tips and a good patina.
