Pair of Dundee Silver Toddy Ladles, c.1815
£295.00
Toddy Ladles (pair) - Old English Pattern - Dundee circa 1815 by David Manson - 15.4cm long; 47g - KJ/1745
These are a lovely, elegant pair of Scottish provincial silver toddy ladles made by David Manson of Dundee in the early 19th century.
These ladles are in the Old English pattern with original engraved initials to the front terminals. They have deep circular bowls and are in fine condition throughout with the "DM" maker's mark struck thrice and the Dundee "Pot of Lilies" town mark once. A great pair of toddy ladles!
