Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a superb quality George IV period silver snuff box contained in its original presentation box.

The front of this good-sized box, is cast in relief with a classical battle scene to the top. The scene shows knights on horseback attacking the populace of a walled town. The detail is excellent with just some minor wear to the highest points.

This a good hefty, high quality box made in London by the scarcely encountered maker Thomas Pepper. It is engine turned to the sides and underneath and retains its original gilding to the interior. A fine silver snuff box in great condition.
