This is a fine quality, Scottish, silver table spoon made by William Simpson in Banff.
This antique, fiddle pattern spoon has a good solid feel in the hand and is engraved to the front terminal with a contemporary to manufacture letter "M" in script. The reverse side is stamped "WS" (maker), "H" and "B" (Banff).
This Scottish provincial spoon is in excellent condition with an unworn bowl and good patina.
