This is a stunning late 20th century sterling silver caddy spoon made by an unknown but very competent silversmith with maker's mark AGS.
The spoon has a clever, basket-weave effect handle and within the centre of the bowl is a gilt representation of a woven mat. This is a top quality, hand-made piece in fine condition - a really cleverly thought out and executed caddy spoon!
