Caddy Spoon - Simulated Filigree Bowl; Bifurcated Handle - Birmingham 1809 by Cocks & Bettridge - 6.3cm; 8g - TP/1218
This is an outstanding Georgian period silver tea caddy spoon from the workshop of Cocks & Bettridge.
The quality of the workmanship inside the rectangular bowl is amazing with a simulated filigree surround to a central oval cartouche with embossed flower head motif. Additionally, the handle is a good-looking feature; bifurcating where it joins the bowl and attractively engraved. There are no personalised engravings and the condition is first class throughout. A superb spoon!
