This is a stunning quality silver wine ewer made by the highly regarded silversmithing duo of Reily & Storer.

This early Victorian ewer has a beautiful baluster form with stunning all over foliate engraving around a vacant roundel to the front. The vine branch handle with its integral leaves and grapes is an especially attractive feature and terminates at both top and bottom joints with a profusion of vine leaves and grapes. Similarly, the hinged cover is fitted with a vine and grape tendril finial.

This handsome silver wine jug is in superb condition throughout and is a first class example of its type.
