These are a fabulous pair of oval Georgian silver salvers emanating from the famous Bateman family workshop. Standing on four bracket feet and with a stylish gadroon mount, they have a lovely elegant look and feel. The engraved crest featuring a stag to the centre just adds to the high quality.

Made by Peter (son of the famous Hester Bateman) and William (her grandson), these trays make a useful and fabulous pairing that benefit from being in excellent condition with a good, original patina.
