Gallery Tray - Oak Base with Silver Gallery & Feet - Sheffield 1884 by Fenton Brothers - 67cm x 46cm (74cm long incl. handles); 2920g gross weight - Ref: JH/8930
This is an excellent example of a 2-handled tea tray with an oak base and silver mounts. The silver gallery of this tray is perfect to prevent slippage from the tray and is engraved to the central section with a crest. A nice touch is the silver crown coin (dated 1846) to the centre. All the component silver parts are appropriately hallmarked, including the four squab feet.
This Victorian gallery tray is in excellent condition and ideal for all manner of serving and display purposes.
