£395.00
Cream Jugs (pair) - Bulbous with Fluted Foot - London 1983 by Leslie Gordon Durbin - 15.8cm high; 338g combined weight; 150ml volume per jug - DZ/6358
Leslie Gordon Durbin (LGD) was apprenticed to Omar Ramsden and carried on the tradition of making fine quality hand-made silver from his master. He was making silver from soon after the conclusion of the Second World War until the 1980's and these terrific looking cream jugs will have been amongst the final pieces he made.
The cream jugs stand tall on flat, fluted, circular bases and have a very elegant profile. They are nicely made with a good weight and are in excellent condition with clear London hallmarks.
