This is a lovely, elegant pair of Scottish provincial silver toddy ladles made in Greenock.
The ladles are in the Old English pattern and benefit from having no personalised engravings to them. The reverse sides are stamped with two anchors and the green oak mark for Greenock. These ladles have not been stamped with a maker's mark but will date from the early part of the 19th century. They are in excellent condition and are very competitively priced.
