Toddy Ladle - Fiddle Pattern - Arbroath circa 1840 by Andrew Davidson - 15cm long; 32g - BZ/4914

Arbroath silver is scarce and this toddy ladle is an excellent example from this North East Scotland town.

The ladle is in fiddle pattern with elongated proportions in typical Scottish style and is free from engravings (no erasures). It is stamped to the reverse with Andrew Davidson's "AD" mark and the portcullis that represents Arbroath.

This good-looking, Scottish provincial toddy ladle remains in excellent condition.
