These are a fantastic pair of Georgian, cast, silver candlesticks made by one of the most important specialist candlestick makers, James Gould.

Measuring just shy of 7" high, these high quality candlesticks have a really heavy feel in the hand and are in superb original condition. Each stick is engraved with an original coat of arms to the base and has a clear set of hallmarks stamped to the underside including the distinctive conjoined "JG" with crown surmount mark for James Gould. The capitals of both candlesticks are appropriately part marked too.

A terrific pair of George II period silver candlesticks!
