Margaret Binley silver wine labels are always attractive and this kidney-shaped label for Madeira is no exception.
Made during the early George III, this bottle ticket has a chased feather edge border that was the height of fashion at the time. The reverse side is stamped with the distinctive "MB" punch for this lady silversmith and the lion passant guaranteeing sterling standard silver. This charming wine label is in fine condition.
