Louis XV Silver Condiment Ladle by Hunt & Roskell

Louis XV pattern is a very scarce Victorian design that was made exclusively for the royal goldsmiths Hunt & Roskell (formerly Storr and Mortimer).

As would be expected, the quality of this silver condiment ladle is top notch and the engraved crest to the front terminal points to it being commissioned by a wealthy family. The decoration is in excellent crisp condition and with just a little salt pitting to the bowl interior, this is a handsome looking spoon.
