Lady in Crinoline Silver Dinner Bell, 1896

This is a wonderful quality cast silver dinner bell in form of a Victorian lady wearing a crinoline dress.

Dating from the late Victorian period, this hefty 10oz table bell is superbly modelled with fine detailing throughout. Occasional examples of this model can be found in silver plate but solid silver examples are very rare. The clapper to the inside of her dress has been made from plenty of silver and so the bell gives a hearty, deep ring when shook.

Superb in quality, lovely in appearance and in fine condition throughout - an impressive piece of silver.
