Silver stirrup cups modelled as foxes are one of the most popular forms of this type of novelty drinking vessel and this is a particular well-modelled example.
The cup was made by the well-known firm of Alfred Dunhill and is an excellent depiction of a fox with a gilt interior. It bears clear London hallmarks for 1960 and is in superb condition with a feeling of very high quality in the hand.
