Napkin Ring - Circular, Chased - Birmingham 1903 by Keswick School of Industrial Art - 4.5cm diameter; 2.7cm high; 21g - JC/7842a
This is a beautiful arts & crafts silver napkin ring made by the Keswick School of Industrial Arts and is clearly marked with their KSIA stamp.
Dating from 1903, it is an early piece from the school that was founded towards the end of the Victorian period. The flowing, hand-chased decoration is typical of the Art Nouveau period and the shield-shaped cartouche remains free from personalised engravings. This serviette ring is in fine condition throughout.
