Arts & Crafts Silver Mug, 1918 Sandheim

This is a beautiful hand-made silver mug created in the arts & crafts style.

Made by the London-based Sandheim Brothers, this small mug would have most likely been made as a child's cup to celebrate a christening and as it remains free from any engraved inscriptions would be ideal for re-using for that purpose. It has been lovingly made with three rope-twist bands and applied floral motifs below the top rim. It has an appealing, delicate feel in the hand and is in excellent condition.
