Condiment Ladle - Fiddle Pattern - Dublin 1828 by Richard Garde of Cork - 12.5cm long; 16g - HE/7837

This long-handled silver condiment ladle was made in Cork by Richard Garde and hallmarked in Dublin.

At 5" long, it is larger than typical salt spoons and was most likely used for ladling condiments from glass bottles. The fiddle pattern handle is free from engravings and the Irish hallmarks are clearly legible to the underside. A great example in fine condition.
