Perth Silver Mustard Spoon by Robert Keay
£110.00
Mustard Spoon - Fiddle Pattern - Perth circa 1820 by Robert Keay - 12.3cm long; 15g - NS/3181
Scottish provincial silver mustard spoons are scarce and this is a great example made by Robert Keay of Perth.
The fiddle pattern handle is engraved with an original letter "C" in script to its terminal and the scoop-shaped bowl is ideal for serving mustard or eating boiled eggs. The reverse of the handle is punched twice with the Perth double-headed eagle town mark and the "RK" maker's mark. The spoon is in excellent condition.
