Hock Armorial Wine Label

This is a fine example of a silver wine label formed from a family's crest. This diamond shaped armorial label features the name "Hock" to the central field and hangs from its original belcher chain. In line with other privately commission armorial labels, this example is unmarked but guaranteed to be silver and will date from the early 19th century.

The crest can be described as "two arms in armour embowed, dexter and sinister, holding in the fingers an annulet".
