Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a high quality Georgian silver wine label bearing the sought after maker's mark of John Bridge. The crown surmounting the "IB" maker's mark denotes the "by appointment" status of the retail shop Rundell, Bridge & Rundell. This shop were the leading silversmiths of the Regency and George IV periods and enjoyed the free spending patronage of King George IV.

This label has made been from a good gauge of silver and has a very heavy belcher chain. It is named Sherry to the central field and has a typical Regency style shell and gadroon border.Excellent condition with some wear to the black inlay for the name.
