This is an excellent example of HG Murphy's iconic "Tree of Life" silver caddy spoon from the Art Deco period.
The Tree of Life motif was used extensively by Murphy on his fine hand-made Art Deco silverware, but it was on the caddy spoon that it proved most effective. This spoon has a good hefty weight and is in excellent condition with clear London hallmarks for 1930.
