Caddy Spoon - Stylised Flower Handle with 3 Green Chrysoprase Cabochons - London 1938 by Omar Ramsden - 10.6cm long; 44g - YD/4701

This is an outstanding quality arts & crafts silver caddy spoon made by Omar Ramsden.

The spoon has a deep, pear-shaped bowl with organic handle in the form of a stylised flower set with three green Chrysoprase cabochon flower-heads. It has a good hefty feel in the hand and just oozes high quality with its hand-made nature evidenced by the gentle planishing marks from the spot hammering process.

This is a truly wonderful spoon that remains in excellent condition with clear hallmarks for the most important 20th century English silversmith.
