Georgian Set of 3-pronged Dinner Forks
Sold
Table Forks (6) - 3-pronged - London 1800 by William Sumner - 19.5cm long; 395g combined weight - YT/1360
These are a substantial set of Georgian period silver 3-pronged dinner or table forks.
Made by the specialist flatware maker William Sumner, these table forks are late examples of three pronged forks and are suitable for using with the Old English or Hanoverian patterns. They are each engraved with an excellent double-headed eagle crest to the reverse terminal. These forks are in great condition with all the tines equal, although slightly reduced in length. A fine set of scarce forks.
