Sorry, this item is out of stock.

A fabulous example of the famed Lion or Leopard's Pelt wine label that was taken from the design of the famous Roman period Warwick Vase. Paul Storr was the main producer of this form of label and presumably this example was made under licence from him - the quality is just as good! This huge label has been superbly made with MADEIRA to the front in raised lettering on a matted background. The label weighs 41 grams and the hefty belcher chain complements the label for pure opulence.

The condition is excellent throughout with the hallmarks located to the vine leaves at the base of the front.
