Newcastle Caddy Spoon by Darling & Bell

Sold
Caddy Spoon - Fiddle Pattern - Newcastle 1817 by Darling & Bell - 9cm long; 10g - AD/6029
This is an unusual caddy spoon with a wider than typical fiddle pattern handle and fluted, ladle shaped bowl. It was made by the scarcely encountered Newcastle duo of David Darling & James Bell (DD/IB) who specialised in jewellery rather than silverware. The spoon is in fine condition with a good set of hallmarks.
