Sorry, this item is out of stock.

Made in Newcastle in the mid-18th Century, we are offering this fine example of a silver escutcheon wine label bearing the title "Port". The label is struck to the reverse side with the easily recognisable "IL" maker's mark for John Langlands that is surmounted by a ring that represents the name of his shop: The Gold Ring. The label is in fine condition.
