This is an excellent silver bowl made by RE Stone to celebrate the coronation of King George VI in 1937.
The bowl has two side handles in the form of the royal crown and is cleverly pierced "George VI 1937" to the interior. RE Stone was one of the most prominent silversmiths of the Art Deco period and his work is always of a high quality. The bowl is in excellent condition.
