Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is an excellent Regency period silver table spoon made by the great Paul Storr.

The vast majority of fiddle & thread silver made in London is of the "English style" with the spoons having down-turned terminals, however Paul Storr was one of the main advocates for the "French style" which have upturned terminals with a heart-motif in the double thread, as can be seen with this spoon. The terminal is further adorned with a superb engraved crest.

As one might expect from the Paul Storr workshop, this spoon has a very heavy feel in the hand and exudes high quality. It is in fine condition.
