This is a good Edwardian period silver tea infuser in the form of a sphere or ball.
Made by Atkin Brothers, this infuser is pierced to release the flavour of the tea, has a securing clasp to prevent leaves being spilled and a chain for hanging inside the teapot. It is fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1904 and remains in excellent condition.
