Early Robert Hennell Caddy Spoon, c.1780
Sold
Caddy Spoon - London circa 1780 by Robert Hennell - 5cm long - YF/2978
The earliest London-made silver caddy spoons tended to be only marked with a maker's mark and lion passant and this is a particularly attractive example made circa 1780 by Robert Hennell.
The spoon has a short cuff-like handle with punched bead design around the edge and integral fluted bowl. This rare Georgian caddy spoon is in fine condition.
