Sorry, this item is out of stock.

Made by James Tookey, this is a superb George II period silver table spoon.

This Hanoverian pattern spoon was made from a good gauge of silver and consequently has a very heavy weight of well over 2 tr.oz. The high quality of this spoon is further evidenced by the original engraved crest that can be seen to the reverse terminal.

The thick silver used has also allowed this spoon to survive 275 years in excellent condition with no dents and the thick bowl tip is a delight. The bottom-struck London hallmarks remain clear and legible and the overall patina of this spoon is first class.
