Formed as a Classical vessel with a chased figural scene, this fabulous early Victorian silver cream jug takes its influences from ancient Greek & Roman artefacts such as the Portland vase. It is decorated with vitruvian scrolls and a Greek key design around the neck to give a very pleasing apperance and the naturalistic handle gives it an extra touch of quality.
This lovely silver cream jug is in fine condition throughout.
