Of coopered bucket form, this lovely mid-18th century silver cream pail was made by one of the most prominent silversmiths specialising in small hollowware (mostly baskets). It has an oval lattice work swing handle and a discreet set of engraved initials to one side.
The underside of the base is stamped with a full set of hallmarks including the mark of Edward Aldridge. This Georgian silver cream pail is in fine condition throughout.
