Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a rare antique, Irish silver cream jug made in the provincial city of Cork by Samuel Green.

The cream or milk jug is attractively engraved with a Greek key band and stands on a flat base upon which the "STERLING" and "SG" maker's mark (twice) are clearly struck. There is an original flamboyant script monogram with flourishes engraved to one side.

This early 19th century silver jug remains in excellent condition with a good colour and neither damage nor repair.
