These are a beautiful pair of Irish provincial silver table spoons made by the top Cork-based maker Carden Terry.
Both spoons are attractively decorated with bright-cut engraving to the handles and bear original script monograms with flourishes to the terminals. They are clearly stamped to the reverse with STERLING and the CT maker's mark for Carden Terry. These good-sized, late 18th century table spoons remain in fine, crisp condition.
