This is a lovely silver patch box dating from the latter years of Charles II's reign. The box is engraved with a Tudor Rose to the removable cover, this style in indicative of the 1670's and 80's. Both inside the base and the cover are stamped with a conjoined "WW" maker's mark. Excellent condition with just the tiniest of dings to the base.
