Caddy Spoon - Bright-cut engraved Cuff Handle - London 1787 by Charles Hougham - 5.8cm long - PH/9270

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

With it's short cuff-shaped handle this charming silver caddy spoon would have been the height of fashion when first used during afternoon tea in Georgian England.

The handle is attractively bright-cut engraved around the border and folds neatly in to a fluted bowl. The reverse side is clearly struck for Charles Hougham and bears appropriate London hallmarks for 1787. This lovely looking caddy spoon remains in excellent condition.
