Art Nouveau Silver Table Box by Ramsden & Carr

This is a stunning silver box made in the Art Nouveau style by Omar Ramsden & Alwyn Carr.

Made for sitting on a table and perhaps holding trinkets, this lovely box is decorated with a band of briars with wild roses hand-chased to the sides and repeated to the knop atop the removable cover. This a real gem emanating from the famous arts & crafts workshop of Ramsden & Carr with appropriate Latin legend to the underside surrounding the London hallmarks. The condition is lovely and crisp throughout. A fabulous piece!
