Archibald Knox Silver Table Spoon, 1901

This is a superb silver spoon designed by Archibald Knox and bearing Liberty marks.

This large spoon shows all the trademark features of Knox's flowing designs that made him the most important exponent of Art Nouveau in the UK. Dating from 1901, this spoon has a heart-shaped bowl together with all the characteristics that you could wish for in a piece of Art Nouveau silver and further benefits from having a hefty weight and being in superb condition with a clear set of Birmingham hallmarks, including the Liberty & Co. maker's mark.
