This is a lovely example of a Georgian silver pap boat.
Pap boats were used for feeding infants and this is a good quality example that is typical of the late 18th century. It is in fine condition with good hallmarks, although the maker's mark is a little worn it is most likely to be the IE of the top maker, John Emes who was a prolific maker of pap boats.
