Teaspoons (6) - Old English pattern; bright-cut engraved - London 1801 by Peter, Ann & William Bateman - 13cm long; 86g combined weight - BS/1805

These are a very pretty set of Georgian silver teaspoons decorated to the front stems with bright-cut engraving incorporating original "GC" ownership initials.

The set of six spoons was made at the turn of the 19th century by the three-way partnership of Bateman family members with Peter being the son of the famous Hester, Ann her daughter-in-law (widow of Jonathan) and William her grandson. The spoons are in fine condition.
