This is a well-made 8.8" long silver paper knife or letter opener with textured handle that typifies the 1970's.
The paper knife has a good, hefty feel in the hand and is clearly struck with London hallmarks and the maker's mark GEM for Gillian Elizabeth Mallett. The condition is excellent throughout with an attractive bright, polished finish.
